Delhi Court : Probe Pending : No Bail For Accused In Cheating Case
Delhi Court has dismissed a bail appeal of a man in a cheating case, saying there are allegations of the accused involved in criminal conspiracy with co-accused persons.
Additional Sessions Judge Prashant Sharma further said that the allegations indicated involvement of a huge amount & possibility of evidence tampering by the accused could not be ruled out.
“Accused is specifically named in the FIR in question, being one of the persons who had misused the amount of the lender company. There are allegations of accused involved in criminal conspiracy with co-accused persons. Investigation is pending, as on date. The allegations indicate the involvement of a huge amount. Different facets of the alleged conspiracy are yet to be unveiled by investigation,” the Court said in an order on Jan 25 while dismissing the bail plea of Tarvinder Kaur Suri.
As per the complaint, the sale deed presented by the accused allegedly falsely noted that the sold property was never mortgaged anywhere & it was free from encumbrances.
Advocate Manoj D Taneja, appearing for the complainant, Manoj Singh, had opposed the bail plea saying the nature of the grave & serious allegations made in the FIR were quite elaborate & also self-explanatory in nature in order to appreciate as to how, why & under what circumstances the complaint came to be filed by the complainant company against all named in the FIR.
